This camp promises to be a fun, intense, and dynamic learning environment for boys and girls ages 8-18 who want to extend beyond basic football and dance skills. Coaches will help you every step of the way as you discover skills you never knew you had. Every participant will do a little bit of football and a little bit of dancing and is guaranteed to try something they’ve never done before.
How Our Camp Is Different
Poses, postures and movements are essential in both dance and sports. Mastery of these movements will help athletes and dancers alike. Ramses Barden, supported by Flintridge Preparatory School’s Athletic Council on Leadership and a team of celebrity athletes and choreographers, has created a holistic learning environment that fuses elite performance and universal skills stretching. Dancers will try football techniques and football players will also try dance.
All participants will be part of a a celebrity teaching forum and receive swag bags. Lunch will be provided.

Ramses and Happy Space© acknowledge several organizations doing real hands-on work in the communities they serve. Proceeds will be disbursed among these charity foundations: STEAM CODERS, Jack Brewer Foundation, Athletic Council Leadership ACL, Five Acres, and #HashtagLunchbag, each receiving a minimum $1,000 donation.
About Ramses Barden
Ramses Barden was born and raised in Altadena and is a proud alum of Flintridge Preparatory School. A third-round draft pick by the NY Giants, he is a six-year veteran NFL player for the NY Giants, Buffalo Bills, and Jacksonville Jaguars and one of the league’s few vegan athletes. Barden is A XLVI Super Bowl champion. Now retired from football, he remains active as a motivational speaker, community activist, youth mentor, health spokesperson and vegan activist. He also broadcasts collegiate and professional sports.
- In high school at Flintridge Prep, he helped his team become 2003 Football Division XIII CIF Champions.
- He was a four-sport All-CIF athlete in football, basketball, volleyball and track & field and was named Small School Athlete of the Year in 2004.
- Recruited by Ivy League schools & Stanford University, he selected Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he played football and was a multiple record holder (he broke Jerry Rice & Randy Moss touchdown records).
About Flintridge Preparatory School
Located in La Cañada, CA, Flintridge Prep is a private independent, coed day school for grades 7-12. A central goal of our school is to provide for each student, in every discipline, the knowledge and tools to have a balanced and happy life.
Since its founding in 2008, the school’s Athletic Council on Leadership has had a primary goal to encourage athletes at Flintridge Prep to take a leadership role at the school, in the local community and in the world, while promoting sportsmanship and a healthy attitude toward athletic competition.
